  • Analysis of subsequent motor responses
  • Sensorimotor control and neural mechanisms underlying spatial auditory perception
  • Neural processes of visual information processing in motion
  • Analysis of higher cognitive behaviour/ function (e.g. attention, action recognition, imitation and reward systems)

Training Program

Events scheduled about every 3 months, rotating over the participating laboratories:

  • Experimental neurophysiology, sensory physiology in non human -primates (seminars/lectures)
  • Laboratory animal sciences (courses)
  • (Bio)statistics, system’s theory, modelling (lectures, exercises)
  • Experimental design, embedded data analysis and visualization (lectures, exercises)
  • Ethical implication and responsibility in animal research (talks and discussion forums)
  • Contact and network building measurements
  • Training in management, communication and other relevant complementary skills

Financial Support

Financial support by the EU is excellent for early stage researchers: about 30.500 € living allowance per year, travel and mobility allowances. Additionally 2000 € career exploratory allowance!

Eligibility Criteria*

You should be an early-stage researcher within your first 4 years of research activity, including the period of research training

You must choose a host institution outside your own country

You must not have resided or carried out your main activity (work, studies) in the host country for more than 12 months in the last 3 years
